Giveaway Winner

Merry Day After Christmas!

Hope everyone had fun celebrating with their families. We did! Hannah had us up at 6:30 to open presents, but that’s half the fun of Christmas morning, right?! Evidently she woke up at 1, 3, 5, and sometime after 6 asking her mom, “Is it time yet?!” Finally, she couldn’t be held back any more, and we had our wake-up call before dawn.

At any rate, what you want to know is who won, right?! First of all, thanks to everyone who entered. There were a total of 99 entries in the contest, and the winner (determined by a random number generator) was #35.

Who’s that you ask…?!!?
That would be JShannon, over at Journey to Malia.
Thanks for playing, everyone!  And, if anyone else really wants a necklace, please email me.  I can buy them for you in China, along with a chain, if you like, and mail it to you.  You can pay me directly for the cost.  The cost depends on which charm you choose, and I don’t have those with me right now… and I don’t know what shipping would be.  (Probably not a whole lot.)  But, if you want to be on an “interest list,” I can send you a list of available charms and the cost when I get back to China.  They are fairly inexpensive, compared to a similar item in the USA, and there are lots of choices… everything from “Emmanuel,” to “Faith, Hope, and Love,” to “Faithfulness,” to “Love One Another.”  The list goes on… those are just the ones that come to mind.  Anyway, just let me know!  I don’t mind sending you one at all!  Or, if you aren’t sure, I don’t mind sending you a price list.

  2. I so very much enjoy your blog, and didn't enter the contest, however I will be adding you to my favorites:) I have a mother & daughter charm I've worn for over 3 years now that I love dearly; however for Christmas I got a custom charm with my daughter's Chinese name. Some mothers from our orphanage are having them created as a fundraiser if anyone else might be interested.
