As I tell my daughters at dinnertime: Come on, y’all, have some manners. If you are writing me to tell me you think I’m stupid and hope I die, I’ll stop reading your note a few words in. If you’re kind and civil in your disagreement with something I wrote, I’ll do my best to write you back — but sometimes I get tons of emails, so it takes a while to sort through them.
